Increase your self-esteem. Enhance your relationships. Reduce your stress. Overcome addictions and eating disorders. Become more assertive. Communicate effectively. Achieve your dreams and goals.

Here’s How You Can Quickly and Easily Change Your Life By Changing Your Thoughts – Even If You’ve Never Been Able to Before.

I did it and I know you can too! Discover how to quiet that inner critic and release your inner cheerleader.

Of course, you want to live a happier life, be more confident and increase your positive thinking. But you’ve tried before, read so many other books and taken lots of courses that you don’t know if it’s ever going to happen.

That’s where I come in. My name is Barbara Small. I am a counsellor, life coach and my life used to be run by my noisy inner critic. Blah, blah, blah… was what I heard in my head all day long.

Do any of these sound familiar?

You can’t do that.  You’re too fat.  You screwed up again.  I’ll never finish on time. They won’t hire me.  I’m not surprised he didn’t call.  I should have done better. He’ll think I’m weak is I cry.  If I get angry, she’ll leave.  I’m a failure.  I can’t do this right.  If I leave him, I’ll be alone forever.  I won’t ever be able to stop drinking. No one wants to hear my problems.  I’ll never be happy.  Blah, blah, blah…..

I know both personally and professionally that if you change your negative thinking you can make any other changes that you want in your life.

I have gone over the steps for changing negative self-talk with every client I have seen and in every workshop I have facilitated – whether the workshops was on self-esteem, assertiveness, communication skills, stress management, body image or coping with changes in your life.

Your thoughts create your reality.

  • They influence your feelings

  • They determine your perceptions about what's going on in your life.

  • They determine what you notice around you and what you attract into your life

  • By expecting the negative, you see only the negative side of each situation.

  • If you expect happiness and success, that is what you will attract.

Most of your negative thoughts are habitual and strengthened by repeated patterns of thinking. This continuous inner dialogue is called "self-talk". Your self-talk can be positive, supportive and self-enhancing or it can be negative, critical and self-defeating.

The goal is to encourage and enhance your positive self-talk and eliminate or minimize your negative.

By changing my negative self-talk and increasing my positive thinking I was able to:

  • Successfully start a new career that fit with my beliefs and values

  • I enjoyed healthier, happier relationships which were more equal and honest

  • If someone criticized me I didn’t take it personally

  • I was able to say no without feeling guilty

  •  I discovered that I was not responsible for what everyone else did or felt

  • I was more relaxed and experienced a lot less stress in my life

  • I spoke up for myself and asked for what I wanted

  • If I was unhappy I figured out the reasons why and what I needed to change

And more than anything else I finally had some peace and quiet from the critic in my head and began to finally feel good about myself and my choices!

My wish is that you too can feel this way. I know from my personal experience and from working with clients for over a decade that it is absolutely possible to do this. It can be challenging at times to not let your negative self-talk run your life, but the outcome is well worth the effort. And I know you can do it.

Why? Because I have put everything I’ve learned about increasing your positive thinking into this one book, “Blah, blah, blah… Changing your Negative Self-talk”. It took me years to uncover it, but it can all be yours today.

It has worked for hundreds of people just like you. However, I don’t expect you to believe me until you see even more proof.

Don’t just take my word for it – check out what these readers had to say...

"Loved the book. It sums up so accurately how self-talk works and despite the amount of reading I've done to try to stop negative self-talk, this one sums it up in black and white. Very readable. Easy to refer to when I find myself slipping. It's like a cheat sheet that I can open to any section and read what I want to read at that moment. Each page gives me something."

Barbara Warman, Victoria, BC

I promise your situation is not unique. And more importantly – your situation is NOT hopeless.

“In order to resolve our problems and be happy and successful in life, it's vital that we stop negative mind chatter and replace it with positive self-talk. As a cognitive-behavioral therapist and educator, I often get asked how to do this. Now I have a book to refer people to, a step-by-step guide to changing your belief system. Especially in my field of eating disorders, it's no use focusing solely on your behavior. You have to make sure your head's on straight!”

Karen R. Koenig, LCSW, M.Ed., www.eatingnormal.com

Wouldn’t you agree that it’s crazy to think you’ll get different results if you keep doing the same thing over and over again? That’s why you need to try something different…

Give yourself a gift today. Begin the process of thinking more positively and bringing more happiness and personal satisfaction into your life.

“Blah, blah, blah… Changing Your Negative Self-talk” can help change how you think. It provides information and techniques to help decrease the chatter of your negative self-talk and increase your positive thinking.

These include:

  • What self-talk is and how it impacts our lives
  • The relationship between self-talk and self-esteem, stress management, addictions, assertiveness skills and our communication with others
  • How our self-talk developed, both overtly and covertly

  • An easy to follow 6-step model to help change your negative self-talk to positive
